Video processor

Introduction

In general, the LED video processor is a dedicated video processor for LEDs. And the task it needs to complete, in simple terms, is to convert the image signal from the outside (such as Blu-ray DVD, computer, high-definition playback box, etc.) into a signal that can be accepted by the LED display. In this process, the LED video processor generally needs to complete the following processing:

1. Bit depth enhancement: The current gray level of the LED display has been upgraded to 16 bits and 17 bits, but the input signal source Most are only 8 bits. Therefore, following the advent of the era of high-definition display, the application of 10-bit or even 12-bit processing technology in video processors has become a general trend.

2. Resolution specification conversion: Generally speaking, the signal resolution provided by the image signal source (such as Blu-ray DVD, computer, high-definition playback box, etc.) has a fixed specification (refer to VESA, ITU, SMPTE) And other standards), and the modular splicing display of the LED display, making its resolution almost any value. The video processor converts various signal resolutions into the actual physical display resolution of the LED display.

3. Scaling: During the conversion of the resolution specification, the image needs to be scaled. Whether the resolution is increased or decreased, the complete image can be displayed on the screen.

Four. Color space conversion: The color gamut of LED displays is very wide, and the color space of most image signals is relatively small (such as NTSC). In order for the LED display to have an excellent image display effect, color space conversion must be carried out.

V. Image processing and enhancement technology: Digital image processing technology has developed from the 1920s to the present, and a large number of patented technologies have emerged. For example, DCDi, ACC2, ACM3D and other Emmy award-winning Faroudja Laboratory's series of patented technologies. These technologies have undoubtedly greatly improved the visual effects of images.

Special features

1. Image capture: capture any small area on the complete image and display it on the entire LED display.

2. Image magnification: magnify the image, the highest magnification is 10 times.

3. Image and text overlay, cutout synthesis: used to superimpose another signal on the screen to complete subtitle overlay, cutout synthesis and other functions.

Four. Fade in and fade out: Fade in and fade out switching between two signal sources, the process time can be set from 0 seconds to 5 seconds.

5. Seamless switching: When switching the signal source, the screen will not be black or blurred during the replacement of the old and new pictures.

VI. Multi-machine connection:

a) In the multi-machine connection state, it can realize the fade-in and fade-out switching between multiple (more than two) signal sources.

b) In the multi-machine connection state, the multi-machine template function can be used to quickly switch between multiple application scenarios. For details, see "Template Function".

Seven. Synchronous follow-up: Synchronous follow-up technology ensures that when multi-machine splicing large-screen LED display, the multi-screen pictures are complete and synchronized.

Image processing

One or four image modes, quickly switch user settings.

2. Bright key, quickly increase or decrease the brightness level of the whole screen, it only takes less than 2 seconds to go from full dark to full bright.

Three, 3D noise reduction, VGA anti-shake and other technologies, significantly improve image quality.

Four. The application of ACC2 and ACM3D significantly enhances the ability to restore image details and the tension of color expression.

V. Black extension, scene mode, etc., to enhance the ability to reproduce image details.

Six or four sets of color temperature settings, including a set of custom settings, there is always one set that suits you.

Seven, DVI enhancement technology, enhance the visual effect of the image under the DVI signal.

Eight, support seven groups of Gamma settings.

Template function

1. Up to 10 templates, which can quickly restore application scenarios.

Second, in the multi-machine connection mode, you can also restore all machines to a certain scene template with just one keystroke.

For example, an LED display screen needs to display a whole image in a certain period of time, while in another period of time, it needs to display multiple images separately at the same time, and fast switching between the two scenes is required. In this case, the role of the scene template is highlighted.

Menu system

The front panel LCD screen provides users with vivid and vivid status icons, complete and convenient man-machine operation interface, giving you a good operating experience. Most of them are function shortcut keys, which can quickly enable or disable certain functions. For example: image capture shortcut keys, dual-screen shortcut keys, fade in and fade out shortcut keys and so on.
