Liaoning Water Conservancy Vocational College
On September 1, 1951, Northeast Water Conservancy was established in Shatukan, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province The college is affiliated to the Northeast Water Resources Administration.
In 1952, it moved to No. 2, Section 7, Huanghe Street, Huanggu District, Shenyang City.
On July 7, 1955, the school was renamed the Shenyang Water Conservancy School of the Ministry of Water Resources, and it was subordinate to the Ministry of Water Resources.
On September 6, 1957, upon request from the Liaoning Water Resources Bureau and approved by the Ministry of Water Resources, the Shenyang Water Conservancy School of the Ministry of Water Resources merged with the Liaoning Water Conservancy School and was led by the Liaoning Water Resources Bureau. On November 1, the merged school was named Liaoning Provincial Water Conservancy School.
On November 25, 1958, according to the document of the Liaoning Provincial Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction Bureau, the original "Liaoning Provincial Water Conservancy School" was changed to the "Liaoning Provincial Water Conservancy and Hydropower College" under the leadership of the Liaoning Provincial Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction Bureau.

From 1966 to 1976, during the Cultural Revolution, the Chaoyang Regional Revolutionary Committee decided to merge the Water School with the Chaoyang Agricultural School and Agricultural Machinery School, and named it Chaoyang Agricultural School, which was later renamed Chaoyang Agricultural College.
On December 28, 1977, the Chaoyang Regional Revolutionary Committee abolished the Chaoyang Agricultural College and established the Liaoning Water Conservancy School, the Chaoyang Agricultural Research Institute, the Chaoyang Agricultural School, and the Chaoyang Agricultural Mechanization School. And since January 1, 1978, it began to work for the outside world.
On February 20, 1980, the Liaoning Water Conservancy School was instructed by the People’s Government of Liaoning Province to select an address in Shenyang and rebuild the school.
On September 20, 1983, the school moved to Hushitai Town, Shenyang City.
On August 18, 2000, with the approval of the People's Government of Liaoning Province, the Liaoning Water Conservancy School was merged into Shenyang Agricultural University. On December 16, Shenyang Agricultural University (Ren) Zi [2000] No. 17 document established the Higher Vocational and Technical College of Shenyang Agricultural University.
On September 20, 2012, with the approval of the People's Government of Liaoning Province, it was agreed that the Higher Vocational College of Shenyang Agricultural University was separated from Shenyang Agricultural University and the Liaoning Water Conservancy Vocational College was established, which is subordinate to the Department of Education of Liaoning Province.
Liaoning Forestry Vocational and Technical College
September 1951, the school was established in Zhengjiatun, Jilin Province under the name of Northeast Forestry Technical College, which belongs to the Forestry Administration Bureau of the Northeast People’s Government.
In the spring of 1952, the school site moved to Shenyang.
At the beginning of 1953, according to the relevant documents of the Government Affairs Council, the school was renamed Shenyang Forestry School and belonged to the Ministry of Forestry.
In 1956, according to the documents of the Ministry of Forestry, the school was renamed Shenyang Forestry School of Liaoning Province, under the dual leadership of the Ministry of Forestry and the Forestry Department of Liaoning Province.
In 1958, the school was renamed Shenyang Forestry College with the approval of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee.
In 1959, the school was renamed Liaoning Forestry School.
In 1960, with the approval of the provincial government, the school merged with the Forestry Department of Shenyang Agricultural College to form Liaoning Forestry College.
In September 1961, the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee decided to close the Liaoning Forestry College and restore the Liaoning Forestry School.
In 1965, the school moved to Nankouqian Town, Qingyuan County, Fushun City.
In 1980, the school site moved back to Shenyang City.
In January 2003, with the approval of the Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, it was independently upgraded to a higher vocational college based on the original state-level key technical secondary school, and was renamed Liaoning Forestry Vocational and Technical College. The school site is located in Sujiatun District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, and belongs to the Forestry Department of Liaoning Province.
In June 2017, in accordance with the requirements of the People's Government of Liaoning Province, the college was adjusted from the Provincial Forestry Department to the Provincial Department of Education.

In August 2018, Liaoning Forestry Vocational Technical College merged with Liaoning Water Conservancy Vocational College to form Liaoning Ecological Engineering Vocational College.
